I was honored to be invited by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) as an Expert Jury Panelist for organization development, change, and leadership.
This experience offered a valuable opportunity to engage with Organization Development (OD) practitioners working closely with diverse non-profit organizations across India. The interactions focused on diagnosing organizational challenges, co-creating meaningful interventions, and reflecting on their journeys as change agents.
What stood out most was the depth of engagement and the willingness to go beyond surface-level problem-solving. It also reaffirmed a critical reality—many challenges in India’s social sector that appear operational are often deeply rooted in organizational systems, leadership approaches, and culture.
Key Perspectives I shared
The evolving landscape of India’s non-profit and social impact sector
Emerging challenges driven by a rapidly changing external environment
The increasing relevance of organization development, Change, and Leadership in strengthening impact-driven organisations
Driving Impact Through Sustina
I also shared perspectives on how Sustina Solution Impact Partners is playing a catalytic role in supporting NGOs and social enterprises through the following:
Structured Organisation Development interventions
Research-led insights
Innovative, impact-focused solutions
This engagement reinforced my belief that sustainable impact requires organizations to move beyond symptoms and address deeper systemic and leadership dimensions.
